My name is Meg, and I am the co-owner of Spilt Milk Pastry in Oak Park, IL.

My sister Molly and I started our bakery in 2014, baking overnight in a shared kitchen space in Chicago, and selling our pastries at local farmers markets and baking for weddings, & events.

We now have a successful retail shop, and absolutely LOVE what we do every day!

I started Bakery Business Academy in 2019 to help other food entrepreneurs do what we did – build a successful food business … even if you don’t have a business background!

I’ve worked with over 3,000 food business owners (mainly bakeries, cafes, coffee shops, and quick-service restaurants) all over the US and Canada since then, to help them build their businesses.
